Different Demands. Products, projects and ideas for workplace, education, government and healthcare spaces. ### Every environment asks something different of the people using it. Workplaces need to balance focus and collaboration. Learning environments need to adapt throughout the day. Healthcare spaces need privacy without feeling closed in. Government settings need to support concentrated work, public-facing services and collaboration within the same environment. ![func-workplace](https://resources.funcconnect.com/hubfs/FUNC/func-workplace.png "func-workplace") ## Workplace ![func-cooee-spaces-desk-divider](https://resources.funcconnect.com/hs-fs/hubfs/func-cooee-spaces-desk-divider.png?width=1250&height=1250&name=func-cooee-spaces-desk-divider.png "func-cooee-spaces-desk-divider") ## Education ![func-healthcare-1](https://resources.funcconnect.com/hs-fs/hubfs/FUNC/func-healthcare-1.png?width=1250&height=1250&name=func-healthcare-1.png "func-healthcare-1") ## Healthcare ![func-spaces-three-quarter-wall-linen](https://resources.funcconnect.com/hs-fs/hubfs/FUNC/func-spaces-three-quarter-wall-linen.jpg?width=1250&height=1250&name=func-spaces-three-quarter-wall-linen.jpg "func-spaces-three-quarter-wall-linen") ## Government ## Explore func. solutions for workplaces, education environments, healthcare and government spaces, with flexible products designed to support privacy, focus, collaboration, acoustic comfort and changing spatial needs. From desking screens and freestanding acoustic screens to modular walls, pods, booths and collaboration tools, discover sector-specific solutions that help create spaces that work harder, adapt more easily and support the people using them. ## Workplaces Make space work harder. Teams move between focused work, calls, meetings, collaboration and individual tasks throughout the day. Hybrid attendance changes how much space is needed. Teams grow, shrink and reorganize.   func. creates flexible workplace solutions that help designers introduce privacy, acoustic comfort, adaptable zones, collaboration settings and better organized work points without automatically turning to permanent construction. Movable walls, acoustic screens, pods and workstation solutions can be repositioned as requirements change, helping the same floorplate support more ways of working. func.'s existing sustainability guidance also positions adaptability as a way to reduce repeated demolition and replacement across future fit-outs. DESIGNED FOR: Open-plan workplaces | Focus and quiet zones |  Hybrid working environments | Meeting and collaboration areas | Shared and assigned workstations | Project spaces | Video-call settings | Breakout and social areas | Workplace retrofits ### Workplace Ideas and Insights ![func-spaces-walls-brick-fullheight](https://resources.funcconnect.com/hubfs/func-spaces-walls-brick-fullheight.avif) ## How to Retrofit Office Dividers Without Disrupting Your Team Practical ways to improve privacy, acoustics and zoning within an existing environment. One moment calls for teacher-led instruction. The next needs independent study, small-group learning, project work or presentation space. Instead of designing every classroom or learning area around one fixed configuration, flexible walls, acoustic screens, pods and writable surfaces can help spaces shift as activities change. DESIGNED FOR: Classrooms | Libraries | Learning commons | Higher education | Individual study | Small-group learning | Student support spaces | Teacher collaboration | Presentation areas | Flexible learning environments ### Education Ideas and Insights ![func\_SOUP\_Article\_The\_Psychology\_of\_Shape\_in\_Education\_Image\_Listing](https://resources.funcconnect.com/hubfs/func_SOUP_Article_The_Psychology_of_Shape_in_Education_Image_Listing.avif) ## The Psychology of Shape in Classroom Design How geometry, zoning and spatial choice can influence focus, belonging and learning behaviour. [Read article](https://www.funcconnect.com/articles/smart-spaces-where-educational-spaces-become-dynamic-learning-hubs) ## Government ### One Building. A lot of jobs to do. Government environments often support very different activities within the same space. Public-facing services may sit alongside administration. Teams need places to collaborate, while others need quieter settings for concentration or confidential conversations. Flexible space division gives designers another option between leaving everything open and building another permanent room. DESIGNED FOR: Government offices | Administrative workplaces | Public service environments | Shared work areas | Consultation settings | Meeting and briefing areas | Training spaces | Focus zones | Public-facing areas ### Government Ideas and Insights ![func-spaces-three-quarter-wall-linen](https://resources.funcconnect.com/hs-fs/hubfs/FUNC/func-spaces-three-quarter-wall-linen.jpg?width=1250&height=1250&name=func-spaces-three-quarter-wall-linen.jpg) ## Sustainable Office Design: How to Reduce Fit-Out Waste Explore how modular products can support longer-term adaptability and reuse. [Read article](https://www.funcconnect.com/articles/shape-shifting-workspaces-micro-architecture-for-modern-offices) ## Healthcare ### Privacy where it matters. Openness where it helps. Healthcare environments need to balance privacy, comfort, visibility, circulation and human connection. Waiting areas may need subtle separation without feeling enclosed. Consultation and administrative settings can benefit from greater visual and acoustic privacy. Staff environments need areas for both collaboration and focused work. Flexible screens and space-division products can help introduce those boundaries without turning every requirement into another permanent room. DESIGNED FOR: Waiting areas | Patient and visitor spaces | Behavioral health environments | Consultation settings | Healthcare administration | Staff workplaces | Quiet and retreat settings | Collaborative staff areas | Aged care environment ### Healthcare Ideas and Insights ![func-healthcare-1](https://resources.funcconnect.com/hs-fs/hubfs/func-healthcare-1.png?width=1250&height=1250&name=func-healthcare-1.png) ## Zen Zone Guaranteed: Acoustic Solutions for Healthcare Spaces Ideas for creating calmer, more comfortable healthcare environments.
